Optical measuring system RALV on behalf of DEZIMAL GmbH
acad was significantly involved in the development of the housing for the new RALV measuring system on behalf of DEZIMAL GmbH. The housing components are currently being manufactured completely by acad in small series.
RALV is an innovative optical system for the precise prediction of achievable vision after refractive lens replacement.
It enables presbyopic patients to look through real intraocular lenses (IOLs) before surgery in order to experience post-operative vision before implantation.
This supports the selection of an IOL (i.e. monofocal, EDOF, mulifocal) in the sense of a subjective assessment in order to achieve maximum patient satisfaction after lens exchange.
The acad group was significantly involved in the design of the system and currently manufactures all plastic injection molded parts in small series.
