Innovative medical products - from raw material to final product

Our expertise lies in the production of medical implants and their pre-products – along the entire development and production chain. Starting from the polymer via mono- and multifilament threads (yarns) to the final product in the form of textile structures or injection molded parts.

About us

ITVP was founded in 2001 as a subsidiary of the German Institutes for Textile and Fibre Research (DITF), Europe's largest textile research centre. Over 40 employees work on a production area of approx. 2,000 m² and clean room areas of 1,200 m². With passion and over 30 years of expertise, we develop and produce medical, mostly textile-based implants and their pre-products.

Our expertise lies in the production of medical implants and their pre-products – along the entire development and production chain. Starting from the polymer via mono- and multifilament threads (yarns) to the final product in the form of textile structures, sheets, membranes and nonwovens.
