Strong together The VDWF’s main objective is to strengthen the German tool and mold making industry. Since its founding in 1992, the VDWF has been supporting mainly small and medium-sized companies, and has worked to strengthen them for joint future tasks. VDWF has more than 500 members.
The VDWF pursues four overarching goals:
1. The first goal is the visibility of the German tool and mold making industry in Germany, Europe and worldwide.
Thats why we offer joint booth at trade fairs such as MedTecLive or Moulding Expo in Stuttgart.
Also we offer information booth at different events, like here at the medtec innovation expo. We have also our magazine called VDWF Dialogue.
2. The second goal ist the training and further education: We promote training and further education in the industry through different seminars, working groups and extra study programs.
3. The third goal is to expand our technology leadership. Thats why we also foundet the Research Association of German Tool and Mold Makers, called FDWF. This involves companies developing projects that are worthy of financial support.
4. The fourth goal is to offer a meeting place: So we organize many events and trips in Germany, but also in Europe, so that our members can visit different companies and exchange ideas and so on. We also organize a delegation trip every two years in which our members can get to know other corporate cultures. For example last year we visited Japan and next year we are going to Costa Rica.
We are also active on social media, especially on LinkedIn, where we publish our events and activities.
You can find more information also on Linkedin or on our website (www.vdwf.de) and you can subscribe to our newsletter.
